Only Clear glass filter (Astronomik) for CCD protection was used. Although the sun was only -07deg below the east horizon, the recording was an easier task as expected. But the advantage was the big 170.5 deg elongation of (8) Flora. The rise of camera integration time and the reduction of gain gave a good star image with useful contrast on the relative bright western sky. The brightness situation was permanent changing. But due to the small mag drop of only 0.4mag an unchanged setting had to be chosen. And this setting had to work unchanged for all the recording duration. Video evaluation accomplished with VirtualDub 1.10.0, Tangra v1.4.0.435 Event data details according to the predictions from Steve Preston. Predicted event time was 04:20:37 UTC (+/- 2.3s) for my observing position. Predicted maximum duration was 15.2 seconds with a 0.4mag drop. Position was 233km from predicted central line in SW direction between central line and path edge with a probability of 68.7%. No occultation event detected (It=0.64s). 3-D Position and timing Garmin GPS18x LVC Receiving 07 satellites Horizontal Dilution of Precision 2.9 Geoidal separation 44.6m (Altitude 564.2MSL + 44.6 = 608.8 m in WGS84 datum) Gerhard Dangl gerhard@dangl.at www.dangl.at/ +--------------------------------------------------------------------+
