In June 2009 my friend the amateur astronomer Juan-Luis González Carballo from Spain informed me about his success to discover a star pair as a physical double star. The double star now was named after him as CRB1. About this great success my heartily congratulations.
Juan-Luis is writing also in a very interesting Astronomical blog in Spanish and some parts in English too.
The double star CRB1 is in the northern corona - Corona Borealis. Position of CRB1 RA 15h 42m 18.17s DEC 28° 52´ 39.0"
On July 12, 2009 the weather became clear. So I could make images from this newly discovered physical double star system. The northern corona - Corona Borealis with both stars was in a height of about 52 degrees above the western horizon.
